Slightly orthochromatic black and white 120 film
The "S" sound recording film is a slightly orthochromatic * film (up to 620 nm) used by film professionals for photographic recording of soundtracks.
This application requires in fact a very high definition made possible by an anti-halo layer specially located between the film support and the emulsion and not on the back as on conventional films.
The film is manually packaged in a recycled cartridge and does not have a DX code.
* Orthochromatic photography uses a photographic emulsion which is sensitive only to blue or green light, and therefore can be developed under a red inactinic lamp. The high sensitivity in blue makes blue objects lighter and reds darker.
