Description

A black and white film which produces very strong contrasts. This film is characterized by a high sensitivity reserve of up to two f-stops, depending upon development. It produces extremely sharp images, with a very fine grain.

The film is also ideal for half-tone pictorial photography. The transparency of the RC base allows this film to also be used as a B&W slide film.

*Orthochromatic films are coated in an emulsion which only reacts to blue or green light, allowing them to be developed under red safelight. The sensitivity of blue tones renders blue subjects lighter and red subjects darker.
