Photo Jam 4.0 is coming to Hamburg and Paris! Khrome Hamburg and Nation Photo Paris invite you to take part in a unique film photography competition, open to 200 participants per city.
Ready to take on the challenge?

🎞️ The Concept

The idea is simple: all participants use the same film, follow the same rules, and shoot within the same time frame. The theme? It will remain a secret until the competition kicks off!
Once you’ve received your film, you’ll have approximately 48 hours to shoot your entire roll of Kodak UltraMax 400 and let your creativity run wild.

📸 How to Take Part

1. Buy ONE ticket from our online shop to secure your spot in the competition.
2. Pick up your Kodak UltraMax 400 film on Friday, October 23, at our Nation Photo store at 12 rue des Halles, 75001 Paris.
3. Discover the secret theme at 6 PM on the day the Photo Jam kicks off.
4. Shoot your entire roll of film within the allotted time of approximately 48 hours.
5. Bring your film back to us on Monday, October 26 — we’ll take care of the developing and scanning!
6. Submit one unedited photo to enter the jury selection.

All that’s left is to choose your subject, capture the moment, and trust your eye.
⚠️ One entry and one ticket per person: a unique number out of 200 will be automatically assigned to you when you place your order.

🏆 What’s at Stake? Prizes and an Exhibition

In each city, a jury will select a Top 10 shortlist, from which three winners will be chosen.
The top three winners will share 70% of the ticket sales revenue in the form of store credit, along with additional prizes provided by our partners.
The three winners in Paris and the three winners in Hamburg will also have the opportunity to see their photographs exhibited at the two final events in Paris and Hamburg.
It’s a unique opportunity to share your work, meet fellow photography enthusiasts, and celebrate film photography together.

Competition kicks off: Friday, October 23
Film drop-off deadline: Monday, October 26, at 6PM
Photo submission deadline: Sunday, November 1, at 11:59 PM
Jury deliberation: Tuesday, November 3
Final event + exhibition: Friday, November 6, at 7:30 PM
