≪ CHERGUI ≫, BY BADYEAR85
From Monday, November 3, 2025, to Friday, January 9, 2026, our boutique on Rue Monge is pleased to present the work of photographer BadYear85. Through his series CHERGUI, created during a journey through Morocco and entirely captured on analog film, BadYear85 transports us into sun-drenched landscapes and invites us to meet those who inhabit them.

≪ The Chergui is a hot wind that comes from the desert.
It sweeps across Morocco, raising dust, stretching contours, brushing faces before dying out over the ocean.
These images were taken in March 2025 during an analog film journey along the coast, from Essaouira to Agadir.
The film’s grain echoes the sand carried by the wind: the same particles, the same tremors.
Yet everything appears still. Silhouettes, landscapes, faces — calm prevails.
The breath is invisible, but its traces remain. ≫
