2. Soft Power by Villena

Sometimes what we remember isn't entirely true. Memory is like a worn-out rag. Photography can be much the same.
Today, we find ourselves torn between hyperreality and fiction. We no longer know who—or what—to believe. That's why the only truth is what your hands can touch. Like your lover's body.
When was the last time you read a poem? When was the last time you kissed someone in secret? How complex is beauty?
These images feel like memories or dreams. They describe something that once existed—something that may or may not be real. Soft Power is a way of crying out against our obsession with truth and conspiracy. It is a defence of doubt. A defence of dreams.
Here, this gentle power shapes beauty. These photographs were taken inside Plato's Cave. They embody the idea of something perfect that, although intangible, can still be perceived—like memories, or your deepest secrets.

3. Coney Island Queen by Ludivine Combe

Time stands still through the grain of Ludivine's expired film, inviting us on a journey to the beach. What matters isn't when we are, but where: we're in Coney Island.
Between snakes and giant inflatable bananas, her gaze draws us from one image to the next, creating a photographic journey unlike any other. You can almost feel the warmth of the sun and smell the ocean in her photographs.
Above all, these images radiate a joyful celebration of life. Everything—and everyone—is photographed without judgment. In front of Ludivine's lens, everyone is equal.
What began as a simple summer day at the beach gradually became a profound journey of self-discovery, one photograph at a time. And who better than the "Coney Island Queen" herself to take us there?
