Organised by Khrome Hamburg, the 4.0 edition of Photo Jam welcomes its new partner: Nation Photo Paris!
Running alongside the competition in Hamburg, the event will also take place in Paris, with the same rules, schedule, theme and prize pool.

⋅ Deadline for sending scanned images to participants

⋅ Jury deliberation and selection of the Top 10, including the three winners

Terms and Conditions of Participation

Participants

Open to anyone aged 18 and over
Maximum of 200 participants per city
Online tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis

Registration

Tickets available at nationphoto.com (Paris) and KHROME.de/PhotoJam (Hamburg)
€10 per ticket (film roll, developing and scanning included; one roll per person)
70% of the proceeds will go directly into the prize pool
Each participant must provide a valid email address
Each participant will be registered as a Nation Photo customer unless they are already registered

Film Roll

One numbered 35mm film roll will be provided free of charge upon registration
Thanks to KODAK for sponsoring the film rolls!
Only the film roll provided as part of the event may be used
Only standard formats are permitted: Half Frame, Full Frame and XPan

Film Roll Drop-Off

Film rolls must be dropped off in the mailbox at Nation Photo no later than Monday, 26 October, at 6:00 PM.
Only film rolls submitted by the deadline will be eligible
Late submissions will neither be developed free of charge nor included in the competition

Developing and Scanning

Standard developing (no push/pull), with standard JPG scans
Minor colour and exposure adjustments performed by the scanner (no retouching or correction of technical defects)
Scans will be sent via a download link no later than Friday, 30 October, at 6:00 PM
No liability can be accepted for incorrect email addresses or messages that end up in spam folders

Photo Submission

Each participant must submit one unedited photo by email no later than Sunday, 1 November, at 11:59 PM to the following address:

The email must include:
1. The participant’s name
2. The participant number (indicated on the film roll)
3. The name of the folder containing the received photos
4. The filename of the selected photo
5. The selected photo as an attachment, for verification purposes

❗ Important
Only one image file may be submitted
Submitting multiple files will result in disqualification from the competition
No changes to the photo will be permitted after submission

Selection Process

A jury will create a shortlist of 10 photos
The jury will select the top three winners
Nation Photo does not impose any guidelines on the jury, and its decisions are final and cannot be challenged
Any legal recourse is excluded

Prize Ceremony

Friday, 6 November at 7:30 PM, during the final event at the Nation Photo store (Khrome will organise a separate event in Hamburg).
Exhibition of the 10 shortlisted photos
Announcement of the winners and presentation of prizes to the top three
Additional exhibition of the three best photos from the other city
1st prize: 40% of ticket sales revenue; 2nd prize: 20%; 3rd prize: 10%, awarded as in-store vouchers, along with other prizes

Usage Rights

Participants guarantee that the submitted photos are free of third-party rights
Nation Photo is authorised to use the submitted photos in connection with the event and on its website, Instagram and Facebook
